Captivating Cuba

Hello and welcome to the Captivating Cuba blog. Over the next few years, we're hoping that this area of the site becomes one of the best places on the internet to learn about what's happening on the island, where's hot and to get a feel of what life is like on this amazing tropical island.

I'm Jasna Arifovic, sales manager of Captivating Cuba and have been dealing in luxury holidays to Cuba for the last 5 or so years. I'll be being joined on this blog by Peter Young and Sasha Smith from our London offices and Hector Gonzalez - our man in Havana! Between us, I like to think we know a great deal about Cuba: the culture, the places and the people, so if you have any questions about the island, feel free to drop us a comment and we'll try our best to reply - or even expand with our answer over a full blog post!

It has been pretty cold in London these past few weeks, so it's no wonder we've seen quite a few people enquiring about Varadero beach holidays. Apparently, the weather is a lovely 21 degrees over there today, so I can't really blame them - Hammersmith's frosty winter climate can't really compare, no matter how nice our offices are!

Anyway, will write again soon - with December fast approaching, we've got a few things to tell you about the Christmas festivities that will be happening in Cuba over the next few weeks, as well as discussing some of the interesting activities you can enjoy on a holiday in Cuba.
