Baracoa
Baracoa was the first city to be founded in Cuba back in the early 16th century, just a couple of decades after Christopher Columbus had visited the area. The city of Baracoa is in a beautiful setting along the coast surrounded by tropical forests. The historic centre of the city is more simple than Cuba's bigger cities with many traditional wooden buildings.
