One of the oldest hotels in Havana, the 3 star Inglaterra, declared a national monument, stands next to the ornate Gran Teatro and overlooks Parque Central where Habaneros come to relax and catch up on the local news and gossip. Now slightly faded, the Inglaterra is situated very close to all the sights of Old Havana and retains its colonial charm, especially the ground floor Moorish-style piano bar, a favourite haunt for Havanas visitors. Local activities include Havana sightseeing. General facilities offer a la carte restaurant, cafeteria, ornate lobby bar, gift shop, money exchange, beauty salon, babysitting and laundry service. The 83 rooms are simply furnished in colonial style.
