La Moka in Pinar Del Rio

we really liked this hotel, it's location was very good, and the staff all friendly and helpful. We booked the horse riding which was fun and not too expensive in comparison to the other trips offered. Our one complaint would be that they played Reggaeton music loudly the whole time at the pool, which spoilt the peaceful atmosphere. J.M in August 2009

We were fortunate at La Moka to have an end room with lovely views from our terrace. The room was large with two double beds and the bathroom had the added bonus of a bath with a large window overlooking the lush plants outside! We were told that the only way to explore the area was with one of their guided excursions but, upon enquiring, were told there were no tours available. We did, in fact, venture off on our own which was fine but it would be helpful if people were told to book any trips in advance, particularly if only staying 2 days. We only ate at the restaurant in the hotel where the food was reasonable and the staff were very friendly. G.K in june 2009
