- Day One - Wednesday
Travel direct to Havana, Cuba with Virgin Atlantic
Departs 9.20am from Gatwick on 4th February
Warm welcome from the Key2Cuba team and VIP check-in. Enjoy stunning views with Cocktails on the Hotel roof terrace. Dinner in atmospheric Cathedral Square with live band. Meet the dancers and Party in the local wild Salsa club.
- Day Two - Thursday
Orientation meeting. 3 hour juicy Salsa class with world class Dancers
Relaxing afternoon to sightsee / take a massage or have a siesta. Dinner in a local Son Club. Dancing accompanied by all the dancers at the most famous live band venue Casa de La Musica.
- Day Three - Friday
2 hour Salsa class. Relax in the sunshine with Lunch on the beach. Beach Party of a life-time with a 9 piece live band Rueda in the sea and sand. Visit the statue of Christ on the way home for amazing views of Havana and the port. Salsa in the late evening locally
- Day Four - Saturday
3 hour Salsa class. Optional Guided tour of Old Havana finishing with a Rum in the lively Rum Museum. Traditional Home-cooked supper in the home of a Cuban friend. Dance the night away in the top live Salsa venue
- Day Five - Sunday
Free morning to lounge around and a late breakfast . Rumba street party with live shows and a 10-piece all female band . Meet the Mural artist Salvador Gonzalez at his home and make a wish at his Chango shrine. Italian Pizza for lunch in an outdoor Piazza. Photos and dancing on the beautiful Island of Shells. Salsa the night away with 100s of local Cubans as the sun sets over the water in a 1830s waterside club
- Day Six - Monday
3 hour Salsa class. Free afternoon to swim / visit the museum / go shopping at the market / take a bus tour of Old Havana. Meet for Dinner. Dancing at the fabulous new Micheal Blanco Salsa club 11pm 6 am (coach leaves at 2.30am, 4am, 6am) Be prepared to party!
- Day Seven - Tuesday
Morning off to rest up, sight-see, shop or recover at the local Chocolate shop / cafe. Afternoon Salsa and Rumba class led by dance legend Juan de Dios and Kerry. Discover the real Havana by Horse and Carriage along the sea front.
- Day Eight - Wednesday
Free morning for sight-seeing or Private lessons or visit the rehearsals of Los Van Van (if they are in town). Afternoon Cocktails and a boogie with the dancers in Old Havana. Dance your heart out with the adored Tanya and Bamboleo in the infamous wild Wednesday Salsa Matinee the Salsa experience of your life!. Dinner at the best Cuban restaurant in town. Late drinks in a 1920s rooftop Hotel bar overlooking Central park.
- Day Nine - Thursday
2 hour Salsa class. Free afternoon for relaxation and exploration. Early evening visit outside the city to a dancers private home. Experience an authentic Bembe where the dancers perform the Orishas (Dances of the Gods) followed by a huge Salsa party. Home cooked food and dancing with the neighbours.
- Day Ten - Friday - Day trip to Mocca
400 Cubans live in this Idyllic Eco-friendly Paradise in the mountains in Punar del Rio 50 mins outside Havana
Special invitation to the lakeside home of Singer Polo Montanez. Lunch in a hotel overlooking a grand canyon of outstanding natural beauty. Visit to the Lakes and Coffee plantation. Swimming in the river. Salsa party with one of 3 live bands. Back to Havana for late night dancing with the dancers at the local Salsa club.
- Day Eleven - Valentines Day
Special Valentines Breakfast on the Hotel rooftop restaurant. 3 hour Salsa class which includes the romantic Bolero. Free afternoon for last minute everything! Dinner on a candle-lit boat restaurant in the Harbour.
Salsa-ing with all the dancers in the sexy Salon Rojo (built by the Mafia in the 1920s) and frequented by Frank Sinatra and Eva Gardner retrace their steps in this fabulously atmospheric club.
- Day Twelve - Sunday
Breakfast on the rooftop. Say your goodbyes in the Hotel reception with live piano music. Travel direct back to the UK with Virgin Atlantic. Arrive in Gatwick at 6.30am on the 16^th February.
