This charming little hotel is as close to a boutique hotel as you would find in Santiago, or in most places in Cuba. Having been refurbished at the beginning of 2008, it is caringly run and well positioned a few blocks away from the main square, Parque Cespedes. It has a very small restaurant that serves a small but interesting menu of food. The rooms are remarkably elegant and reflect the heritage of the previous ownership of the beautiful building.
Being positioned in a residential street, don't expect tranquillity, however it more than makes up for this with its access to real Cuban life on your doorstep and the privilege of being able to walk around and soak up the wonderful atmosphere of Santiago.
