Saratoga in Havana
The elegant Hotel Saratoga in Cuba is the capital's grandest hotel and has breathtaking panoramic views of the port and skyline of Havana. The Saratoga hotel was originally built on this site in the 1930s and quickly became a favourite haunt of artists and socialites from all over the world. To this day the lodgings combine the exquisite style of the original with up-to-the-minute technology to ensure superlative service and comfort for guests. If you want to make your stay unforgettable, lodging in Havana's Saratoga Hotel is a must.
Despite the 2005 rebuilding of the place, Cuba's Hotel Saratoga still retains much of the personality that the original had. From its grand railings, marbles stairs and stunning columns, it really is a memorable building! The structure slipped into bad repair after being nationalised and transformed into a low class rooming house, but now that Havana's Saratoga Hotel has been built up again, it is restored to the level of greatness and distinction it truly deserves!
If you're looking for high-class lodgings perfectly situated to take in the local sights, Cuba's Saratoga Hotel offers the perfect environment to enjoy the best the capital has to offer.
Feedback and reviews
The Junior Suite room we stayed in was fantastic. The hotel is opposite the Capitolio, so very central. An ideal base for seeing Havana. A.K. in April 2009
Very good great location and heplful staff although their choice of restaurants in Havana are expensive and not very good. Mr. J. in January 2008
